Bonded on a nickel-alloy leading edge for erosion protection of the blades, the QFJ MTV-27 features damping characteristics for almost vibration-free propeller operations. The design supports significant inside and outside noise reductions, complying with the strict European noise regulations for unrestricted airport operation in Germany and other European countries.

Additionally, the company claims increased ground clearance for less blade tip erosion and a 200-foot shorter takeoff distance, with a 3 knots cruise speed increase.
