The Stallion is one of a string of composite kit aircraft that makes available advanced-technology building techniques to the kit builder. What makes the Stallion stand out among the other aircraft in its class is its method of construction, configuration, and multipurpose focus. Although the construction is largely composite, the Stallion utilizes a steel-tube inner fuselage cage that surrounds the cabin providing an integral high-strength central structure. The Stallion utilizes the same basic wing assembly as the Lancair IV and also uses the same retractable-gear mechanism. The configuration of the Stallion differs from the norm in its class by featuring a high-wing design that looks a lot like a Cessna 210 Centurion. The Stallion possesses a large payload capacity with quick-disconnect seats and features a large 72 x 36″ right-side fuselage panel that removes for bulky cargo loading.
