Photo Of The Week: The Smile Of Success

Completing your flight training is awesome. Completing your initial training in a jet to become a Naval Aviator? Even better

This week’s Photo Of The Week is courtesy of the United States Navy, which earlier this week posted pics on its Twitter page of Lt. J.G. Madeline Swegle, who had just completed her Tactical Air Strike training syllabus in the McDonnell Douglas T-45 Goshawk. Lt. Swegle will officially get her gold wings later this month. And there’s, even more, to be proud of, as if that wasn’t enough, as the Navy says that its newest aviator is the first Black woman to complete this training! Double congrats, Lieutenant!
