Key Takeaways:

This week’s Plane & Pilot Photo Of The Week is from warbird photographer extraordinaire Scott Slocum. The shot (with two bonus photos here, as well) is of a pair of remarkable black-tail P-51s, Lope’s Hope, a rare P-51C, and Miss Kitty III, a P-51-D model, both from the Dakota Territory Air Museum in Minot, North Dakota. We won’t even try to describe the shot, but we will say that if you’re like us, it’ll leave you speechless. Lope’s Hope flown by Bernie Vasquez and Here’s Kitty by Warren Pietsch.

Just wow. Then again, the other two shots are spellbinding, as well. Thanks to Scott for sharing these amazing shots with us. And if you want to check out some more of Scott’s work and get a behind-the-scenes look at how he captures the magic, visit his company’s site, aeromediagroup.com.
