AirVenture 2017 was a busy and well-attended event, with parking areas like Vintage and North Forty filling quickly from the show's early days.
The show highlighted significant aviation history, celebrating the 80th anniversary of Piper Aircraft with numerous Cubs and the 75th anniversary of the Doolittle Raid with B-25 bombers.
A diverse range of aircraft was on display, from various Warbirds (including B-29s, A-20G, P-51D, F-4U, C-47), vintage and corporate jets (Cessna Citations), to popular homebuilts (Van's RVs) and the Blue Origin New Shepard space vehicle.
