I’ve been riding motorcycles since I was 14 and have owned a number of them – BMW’s, Ducati, Harley, Hondas – but have never gotten a motorcycle license. I did this for a reason. My logic was that if I didn’t have a license I wouldn’t be tempted to speed. Considering I’ve owned some pretty fast bikes, I thought this was pretty good logic. But, fire season is coming up and I want to buy a bike for California so this week I took a motorcycle safety course and got my first ever motorcycle license today. The class was great and I really like the instructor, Cindy. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot, so it was a good experience all around.
