The Merlin IVA is an executive version of the Metro with 689 cu. ft. of pressurized cabin area and a large baggage compartment. It can carry up to 15 people in smooth over-the weather flight with 7.0-psi pressurization. As an executive aircraft, it can be equipped with bar, galley, cabinets, and couch. Baggage capacity is 30 cu. ft. in the nose and 113 cu. ft. in the cabin. The Metro, introduced in 1974, is a 19-passenger turboprop airliner designed specifically for commuter service. It combines 300-mph cruise with a roomy air-conditioned pressurized cabin. A rear cargo door and optional movable cargo bulkhead provide passenger/ cargo flexibility. Power is supplied by twin 940-shp turboprops.
