When the Venture was introduced, few could believe the performance figures that were being claimed by this stubby little plane. But seeing is believing, and as the records fell, more and more people started taking Questair’s Venture as an aircraft to be reckoned with. The basic formula is really quite simple and is one that has held fast since the airplane was invented: largest engine + smallest practical airframe = speed. Of course, the trick is to simultaneously keep it safely flyable and easy to build. This speedy little two-seater is of all-aluminum, construction with a retractable tricycle landing gear. There’s ample room in the cockpit for two full-sized adults and about 50 pounds of baggage.
