AirVenture saw exceptionally high attendance, with spectator areas consistently crowded and aircraft parking reaching full capacity early in the event.
The air show featured a diverse array of aircraft, ranging from historic warbirds like the B-25s and B-29s (including a rare dual flight of two B-29s after 50 years) to modern military jets such as the B-1 Lancer and F-35, as well as unique experimental planes and ultralights.
Attendees were treated to spectacular air show performances, including dynamic fly-bys, complex formation flying by various aircraft groups (like T-34s and even a B-17 with a Yak), and aerobatic displays from teams like the Twin Tigers and pilots like Sean B. Tucker.
