Ascent Aviator Sunglasses
Featuring light and robust titanium frames and mineral glass lenses, these glasses from Ascent work to provide the right mixture of contrast and light exposure for pilots in the cockpit. The glasses are custom-made for aviators and protect against near-infrared rays, which pose a greater danger for pilots flying at high altitude.
The glasses come in three different versions, allowing 9 percent, 18 percent and 30 percent of VLT, respectively. Each design features the classic aviator look and has been tested for comfortable wear underneath a headset. The glasses are priced at $240.
