The new owner of the first Legacy 500 is none other than an international movie star. Embraer confirmed this past Monday that the first customer in China to take a delivery of the brand new Legacy 500 is Chinese movie star, and martial arts expert, Jackie Chan.
Chan has had a long-standing relationship with the aircraft company, since 2012 when he was given an Embraer Legacy 650 as China’s launch customer, and subsequently became a brand ambassador for Embraer Executive Jets. The Legacy 500 is a definite upgrade from his last model, and features new designs and state of the art technology that will increase fuel efficiency, as well as comfort for its passengers. The jet is notably the first in its class to feature fly-by-wire technology, rather than conventional controls.

I’m sure that the performance of the new Legacy 500 will again exceed my expectations, and become a comfortable mobile home and office for me,Ã Chan stated.
