Another New Voice At Plane & Pilot

Erika Armstrong part of a growing team

Madavor Media is delighted to announce that veteran aviator and aviation writer Erika Armstong has joined Plane & Pilot as associate editor. Erika comes to the brand with thousands of hours of experience as a pilot in air transport, medivac and personal transportation flying, with type ratings in the Boeing 727 and the Cessna CE500 Citation. Armstong is the author of a new book, A Chick in the Cockpit, which details life in the air for women in air transportation, and she has written dozens of articles for a variety of aviation magazines and websites. Plane & Pilot VP and editor-in-chief Isabel Goyer welcomed Armstrong, saying that “Erika brings a number of gifts to Plane & Pilot, including a wealth of real-world flying experience, a passion for telling great stories about flight and the talent to communicate about what we do in a truly unforgettable way.” Armstrong will work out of her home office near Denver, Colorado. “We are thrilled to have Erika join the team here at Plane & Pilot,” said Goyer, adding that her appointment is one of a half dozen major announcements yet to come leading up to the launch of the May issue of the newly redesigned and reimagined magazine.
