Although the construction is largely composite, the Stallion utilizes a steel-tube inner fuselage cage that surrounds the cabin providing an integral high-strength central structure. The Stallion utilizes the same basic wing assembly as the Lancair IV and also uses the same retractable-gear mechanism. The configuration of the Stallion differs from the norm in its class by featuring a high-wing design that looks a lot like a Cessna 210 Centurion.
