AEROMOT “XIMANGO”€

The Brazilian company Grupo Aeromot makes three sleek motorgliders, the Ximango Sport, the Super Ximango and the Turbo Ximango. Designed by Rene Fournier, the aircraft feature wide-track landing gear, powerful spoilers and power on demand from the liquid-cooled Rotax engine. The Super Ximango has a L/D ratio of 31:1 and a minimum sink rate of 184 fpm. Under power, the motorglider can cruise at 115 knots. The turbocharged version steps up to the 115 hp Rotax 914. With redesigned ailerons and the addition of winglets, the 140 KTAS Turbo Ximango is hard to beat.
