The AT-3 is available in Europe as both a certified pre-built aircraft or as a kit. Its design originated in France as the Pottier P220, who also spawned the Czech Evektor. The AT-3 was ultimately improved by Polish designer Tomasz Antoniewski. He was also responsible for a single-seat taildragger, the AT-1. The Aero AT-3 hopes to compete in the US in the Light Sport Aircraft category.
