In 1948, the four-place, 165-hp Luscombe Silvaire II-A Sedan was introduced and then discontinued the following year. The II-A was essentially a four-seat redevelopment of Luscombe’s Model 8 with a deeper fuselage. Constructed of all-metal, the Sedan can be used to carry cargo.
