This week's Plane & Pilot Photo Of The Week is by the EAA's Sara Nisler from what should have been opening day of AirVenture 2020. Instead, it shows something not that many of us have ever seen, an empty Wittman Regional for AirVenture Week. We don't know about you, but we can't help but mentally fill it in in our mind with airplanes and airplane lovers!
Sara took the photo from a Cessna 120 earlier this week. If you think an empty Wittman Field is sad to us, can you imagine how sad it must be to EAA employees who are on those very empty grounds.
