Pascale's achievements tell the story of a man who had a deep passion for aviation. After many years of racing model planes, he and his brother built their first aircraft---a P48 Astore---in 1951. Pascale got his pilot's license that same year. He founded Partenavia in 1957 before eventually moving on to found Tecnam with his brother in 1968. His designs include the Partenavia P68, the P64 Oscar, and the Tecnam P2006T. His companies have delivered more than 7,000 aircraft worldwide.

Professor Pascale had a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Naples and went on to create the Department of Aeronautical Engineering there. Just last year, he received an Honorary Doctorate in Aerospace Engineering from Seconda Università of Naples. His last design was the Tecnam P2012 Traveller. It is currently in flight testing.
