After a day of flying, you can take the folding Spezio Tuholer home behind your car. Offering the thrill of open cockpit flying, this two-seat monoplane is powered by a 125-hp Lycoming. (The name Tuholer means "two-holer," for two cockpits). The ship should not be built by anyone who is afraid to weld. The fuselage and tail structure call for the use of steel tubing. Its large center section, supporting the folding-wing mechanism, is fashioned from a trio of one-inch .049 tubing with end plates, fittings, and large bolts that allow the wings to fold for storage.
