A media package should answer a number of questions: What makes the magazine unique? What is its position in the marketplace? What does it do differently? Why does that make its readers distinct or more significant than other magazines' readers?

Plane & Pilot is edited to be relevant to mainstream pilots of light-sport aircraft through light-turbine aircraft. That means pilot/owners of late-model, certified or factory-manufactured aircraft. These pilot/readers are the most numerous, important and valued consumers in general aviation.

Plane & Pilot is known as the information magazine for pilots. Plane & Pilot doesn't try to be everything to everyone. We focus on active pilots who have a need for an information-oriented magazine. In addition, our editors are mindful of including a good dose of entertainment in our editorial content.
