American Flyers Opens New Arizona Facility
The training center, set for a November 1 grand opening, will be located at Scottsdale Airport.
American Flyers Flight School has announced the opening of a new training facility at Arizona's Scottsdale Airport (KDSL). The school is set to open its doors on November 1, with an open house scheduled for Saturday, November 12, with a free lunch from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.
The Scottsdale Airport location will offer FAA Written Test preparation, flight training and simulator instruction. There also will be weekend groundschool classes and flight instructor revalidation.
According to American Flyers' Executive Andrew Henley, "We look forward to providing a convenient and professional environment for local pilots to pursue their aviation education. Arizona's favorable weather means more flying days, and provides us the opportunity to attract others during the winter who are preparing for their Private Pilot or Commercial Licenses and Instrument Rating."
American Flyers operates FAA-approved schools throughout the country, with locations in New York, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Dallas and Los Angeles. In addition to online training, the school provides career training for those looking to become a CFI or enter the ranks as a professional airline pilot.
