Check out the latest cool pilot stuff!

B-15 Bomber

Worn by U.S. Air Force pilots and air crews in the 1940s, the B-15 jacket was designed for cold temperatures, with a Mouton fur collar, 100% wool knit waistband and cuffs (with a later move to nylon), and tabs to hold the pilot's oxygen mask and to keep headset wires in place. Alpha Industries started making its B-15 bomber reproductions in 1993 and today offers the Injector jacket ($180), designed to B-15D specifications. A modern take on the classic military-style bomber, the mid-weight Injector is suitable for mild or colder winter climates from 25º F to 40º F. It features a 100% washed flight nylon outer shell and polyfill nylon lining, a removable faux Mouton fur collar, canvas tape trim details, interior/exterior pockets and tabs, plus metallic rings for additional functionality. Available in sizes from XS to 5XL in 5 colors (yellow, washed black, brown, replica blue, replica gray). Alpha Industries offers a variety of cool coats and jackets for men, women and kids. alphaindustries.com

Grip It

As pilots, we're fortunate to have lots of choices when it comes to cockpit solutions for our tablets, whether for PIC or passenger. A new option is the TORCHGRIP ($59.95), a universal computer tablet that functions as a versatile stand or handle. Compatible with all iPads and most other tablets, it provides secure and comfortable handling of your device. Durable and ergonomically crafted, the lightweight TORCHGRIP® can withstand the weight of your tablet or iPad to work as a stand, but also has a handle that will rotate 360 degrees, allowing multiple viewing angles in both portrait and landscape positions. The handle detaches by pushing a release button to slide it out of its mounting slots for easy stow and go. Made in the USA, the TORCHGRIP is available in black or white. aircraftspruce.com
